Mobile Hemp Dryers

It’s harvest time for your hemp crop, and the last thing you want to worry about is keeping all those plants safe. However, there are things like rot and mold that can creep up as your freshly-harvested plants make their way to their next stop.

Stop transporting wet hemp, and dry on site. Put a mobile hemp dryer, from Arbor Vita8 Dry, on your own property today.

Why How You Dry Hemp Matters

There are two primary ways to dry hemp — you can put it through an actual dryer, or you can hang it dry. Hanging it creates its own set of issues since you need to have enough space for your entire crop, and have an area that can keep the plants safe. That means controlling sunlight, humidity, and temperature. These elements are all unpredictable, so costly machinery is often brought in, one piece for each element. With a mobile hemp dryer, everything you need is included in a single machine. Not only that, but you’ve got one set of controls to monitor your plants and ensure optimal output of cannabinoids and valuable compounds.

Why You Should Dry the Whole Plant

The more wet hemp plants get touched, the harder it is to preserve the volatile organic compounds — the ones we want — within. Contact with the plants risks damage to the trichomes and increases the chance of evaporation. Both issues mean saying good-bye to the terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, and more that we’re trying to hold onto.

Drying the whole plant, like the mobile hemp dryers at Arbor Vita8 do, means you only have to handle the plants once throughout the entire drying process. Our dryers handle everything,  through total automation. Less contact means less damage. Once the plant compounds come out of the dryer, there’s a much smaller chance they’ll escape from the plant before extraction.

What to expect with an AV8 mobile hemp dryer

Offering a level of convenience you won’t get from any other mobile hemp dryer, Arbor Vita8 Dry really does save your time, labor, and worry when it comes to expediently getting your hemp dry and ready for processing. It’s such a precise process that even a slight dip in relative humidity could lead to costly losses. Our mobile hemp dryers are reliable, efficient, and effective. They’re also high tech.

Automation in hemp drying

Not only will a hemp dryer on your property save you time, but our automated sensor ecosystem keeps things running perfectly. This automated system delivers real-time data directly to you. This includes relative humidity and ambient temperature to ensure proper moisture content and that no degradation of cannabinoids, or other valuable compounds, occurs. Getting the settings on a mobile hemp drying machine are crucial. Without everything at the optimal settings, you could risk losing up to 18% of your terpenes, and 23% of your cannabinoids. Don’t let this happen to you! Get quality dried hemp without ever having to transport it anywhere.

Performance that counts

Don’t think small when you consider a mobile hemp dryer from AV8 Dry. You’ll need a total space around 10-15’ to accommodate the dryer itself and have room to stage and load your plants at the back of the machine.

Capacity is 10,000-12,000 pounds of wet hemp, with a dry time between 30-32 hours for flower, and 16-20 hours for biomass. When all is said and done, the final moisture content for flower is between 20-25 percent, allowing you to cure using your own method. Final biomass moisture content is 10 percent or less.
